Marie-Pier Murray-Méthot (born March 23, 1986 in Baie-Comeau ) is a Canadian volleyball player .

Career

Murray-Méthot studied at the University of Montreal from 2005 to 2010 and played on the university team. In 2009 she made her debut for the Canadian national team . After completing her studies, she joined the Swiss association VBC Val-de-Travers in 2011 . A year later, the attacker, who can play on the diagonal as well as on outside / acceptance, switched to the Italian second division team Systema Montichiari . In December 2013 Murray-Méthot was signed by the German Bundesliga club SC Potsdam . In 2014 she moved back to Switzerland, first to VFM Franches-Montagnes and in 2015 to her former club VBC Val-de-Travers.
