Marie Eberhard
Marie Antonette Eberhard (born March 13, 1897 in Ravensburg , † August 13, 1975 in Weingarten ) was a German painter.
Marie Eberhard was the daughter of the sculptor Franz Xaver Eberhard . From 1916 she studied at the women's academy of the Munich Artists' Association , from 1918 at the Academy of Fine Arts in Munich with Hugo von Habermann . In 1955 she painted Walter Erbe , the rector of the University of Tübingen , and this portrait hangs today in the Tübingen professors' gallery . The Maria-Eberhard-Weg in Weingarten is named after her.
