Marie Helene Anschütz

Marie Helene Anschütz (* 1985 in Darmstadt ) is a German theater director, author and blogger.

Life

Marie Helene Anschütz attended the Staatstheater Darmstadt during her school days . After graduating from high school, she studied German and literature in Cologne and Frankfurt am Main.

In 2005 she assisted the Städtische Bühnen Köln , the Bremen Musical Theater, the Gandersheimer Domfestspieles , the Staatsoper Hannover and the Städtische Bühnen Münster . She assisted u. a. the directors Philipp Kochheim , Calixto Bieito , Dirk Böhling and Monique Wagemakers. In 2008 she directed the guest performance of Claus Guth's Figaro's Wedding in Japan for the Salzburg Festival . This was followed by productions, co-directing, a musical premiere, staged recitals, directing and theater workshops for children. From 2008 to 2010 she was employed as a permanent assistant director and director of the opera at the Mannheim National Theater.

Since the 09/10 season, Anschütz has been working as a freelance director at theaters such as the Konradhaus Theater Koblenz, the Nationaltheater Mannheim, the TourneeOper Mannheim, the International Forest Art Trail Darmstadt, the Landungsbrücken Frankfurt , the State Theater Darmstadt , the State Theater Eisenach and the Landesbühne Niedersachsen Nord .

Since 2015 she has been running the Eisenach lifestyle blog Der Zauberer von Ost with the topics of culture, family and fashion. The HiER + DA project followed in 2016 via the Darmstadt cultural scene. Since then she has been working as a freelance copywriter and social media manager. a. for the German Academy of Performing Arts , Point + Talk, Wolf Werk .

From 2015 to 2017, Anschütz worked as a columnist for the Thüringer Allgemeine Eisenach. She also writes the Helee ping column for PING magazine.

Marie Helene Anschütz is married to Boris C. Motzki , with whom she has two daughters. She lives in Darmstadt .
