Marietheres Angerpointner (born May 13, 1917 in Regensburg , † October 18, 2005 in Traunstein ) was a German actress .

Life

After attending Bozena Ernst's drama school in Munich , Marietheres Angerpointner received her first engagement in 1945 at the Deutsches Theater Berlin . A performance slip from the Cracow State Theater in the Generalgouvernement of Poland (1944 at the latest) shows her as a guest in the role of Gretchen in "Faust". This was followed by positions at the Bavarian State Theater in 1946 alongside Paul Verhoeven and Willy Rösner , at the theater of the city of Bonn , Gera, Frankfurt, Cologne and Düsseldorf. During this time she played in numerous classic dramas such as Goethe's Stella , Molnár's Liliom and Molière's Der Bürger als Edelmann . The "actress of almost all Shakespeare women" was often seen in plays by Jean Giraudoux and Jean Anouilh .

In 1941 Angerpointner also made her feature film debut in Hans Bertram's propagandistic war film Kampfgeschwader Lützow . This was followed by a few larger roles in post-war productions such as Paul Verhoeven's drama You are not alone with Peter Pasetti and Carola Höhn and Hans Schweikart's comedy Beloved Liar . In 1948 she played the leading female role alongside Paul Dahlke in Rolf Meyer's drama People in God's Hand .

In addition to acting, Marietheres Angerpointner temporarily worked as a freelance interior designer .
