Marija Nikolayevna Perepjolkina ( Russian Мария Николаевна Перепёлкина , English transcription: Mariya Nikolayevna Perepelkina ; born March 9, 1984 in Alma-Ata , Kazakh SSR as Marija Nikolajewna Duskrjadtschenko ) is a Russian volleyball player .

Career

Perepjolkina began her career in a sports school in her hometown. From 2004 to 2006 she played for Uniwersitet-Technolog Belgorod . She then moved to VK Uralotschka-NTMK . With the club she reached the final of the CEV Cup against Asystel Volley Novara in 2009 . After this success, the middle blocker was signed by VK Dynamo Moscow and won the Russian Cup with Moscow in the same year. In 2010 she was runner-up with Dynamo. At the tournament in Montreux she made her debut in the Russian national team . In Japan she won the World Cup with Russia . The following season she was cup winner and runner-up. In 2012, Moscow finished second in the league for the third time. Perepelkina took part in the Olympic Games in London and finished fifth with the national team after leaving the quarterfinals.

Private

On June 6, 2008, Perepjolkina married her then coach Alexander Perepjolkin .
