Marijana Kovačević (born July 20, 1978 in Zagreb , Yugoslavia ) is a former Croatian tennis player .

Career

Kovačević, who loved to play hard courts, started playing tennis at the age of seven.

She won three singles and seven doubles titles in the ITF Women's Circuit during her career . On the WTA Tour she was seen for the first time in the main field at the Croatian Ladies Open 1995 in singles.

In 2007 she was part of the team at TC Radolfzell , which played in the 2nd Bundesliga and ended up in second place in the South League.
