Marin Enache

Marin Enache (born July 24, 1934 in Văcăreşti , Dâmbovița district ) is a former Romanian politician of the Romanian Workers' Party PMR (Partidul Muncitoresc Român) and from 1965 PCR (Partidul Comunist Român) , who was a member of the Political Executive Committee of the Central Committee (ZK) of the PCR was. He also served as Vice Prime Minister between 1983 and 1984 and later as Minister for the Metallurgical Industry from 1985 to 1989.

Party official and MP

Enache became a member of the Union of Young Workers UTM (Uniunea Tineretului Muncitor) in 1951 and worked as a caster between 1952 and 1953. He then graduated from 1953 to 1955 with a degree at the workers' faculty and in 1955 at the technical and master school before completing a degree in mechanical engineering at the Bucharest Polytechnic Institute. In 1958 he became a member of the Romanian Workers' Party PMR (Partidul Muncitoresc Român) and 1959 master in the Bucharest company 23 August . Shortly thereafter, in 1959, he was deputy for politics and organization secretary of the UTM in the army and then completed a two-year course at the Academy for Social and Political Sciences " Ștefan Gheorghiu " .

In 1969, Enache became a member of the Grand National Assembly (Marea Adunare Națională) for the first time and represented in it until 1975 first the constituency Foișor No. 3 , then between 1975 and 1980 the constituency Pantelimon No. 2 , from 1980 to 1985 the constituency Urziceni No. 3 as well last between 1985 and 1989 the constituency of Corod No. 10 . During his parliamentary membership, he was secretary of the Committee on Industry, Construction and Transport from March 13, 1969 to 1975 and then secretary of the Validation Committee between March 22, 1975 and 1985 and at the same time a member of the Parliamentary Group at the conference from April 1, 1980 to 1985 on Security and Cooperation in Europe (CSCE).

At the Eleventh Party Congress of the PCR from November 24 to 27, 1974 , Enache became a member of the PCR Central Committee and was a member of this body until the revolution on December 22, 1989 . In 1976 he was also an advisor to the General Secretariat of the Central Committee of the PCR and, since September 18, 1976, has been an instructor for cabinet matters in the General Secretariat of the Central Committee of the PCR. In 1980 he became head of the office of the Central Committee of the PCR.

Vice Prime Minister, Minister, Honors and Awards

Enache took over on October 4, 1982 the function of First Secretary of the Party Committee and President of the Executive Committee of the People's Council in Brașov County . On October 8, 1982 he also became a member of the Political Executive Committee of the Central Committee of the PCR and was a member of this body until 1985. He was Vice Prime Minister (Viceprimministru al Guvernului) between November 17, 1983 and September 29, 1984, and then First Secretary of the Party Committee and President of the Executive Committee of the People's Council in Galați County from September 29, 1984 to December 16, 1985 .

From April 1, 1985 to December 13, 1986, he was Chairman of the Committee of the Grand National Assembly on Industry and Economic and Financial Activities. Most recently, Enache held the post of Minister for the Metallurgical Industry (Ministrul Industriei Metalurgice) between December 16, 1985 and December 22, 1989 .

Enache has received several awards for his longstanding services and received, among others, the Order of Labor Second Class (Ordinul Muncii) in 1971 , the Order of Tudor Vladimirescu Second Class (Ordinul Tudor Vladimirescu) in 1981 and the Order of 23 August Second Class (Ordinul 23 August ) ,
