Marina Cukseeva (born October 26, 1963 in Leninogorsk , then the Kazakh SSR of the Soviet Union ) is a former German- Kazakh volleyball player and today's trainer .

Career

Marina Cukseeva began her career in the Kazakh SSR with ADK Alma-Ata , with whom she won the European Cup Winners 'Cup in 1985 and the European Cup Winners' Cup three times in a row from 1989 to 1991 . Then she came to Germany for Bundesliga club Bayern Lohhof . In 1994 she switched to league competitor DJK Karbach . During this time, she was represented almost constantly in the rankings of the Bundesliga . After five seasons, she went to Hamburg for TV Fischbek in 1999 , where she played until 2005. In 2006/07 Marina Cukseeva was a player-coach at local rivals WiWa Hamburg . In 2012/13 she was assistant trainer for the second division team VT Aurubis Hamburg II . Marina Cukseeva also played 17 times in the Kazakh national volleyball team . In 2015 she won the 50+ World Championship in the USA with the German senior national team.

Private

Marina Cukseeva's daughter Natalia also plays volleyball in the Bundesliga.
