Mario Levi
Mario Levi (* 1957 in Istanbul ) is one of the most important modern novel authors of Turkey .

Mario Levi was born to Jewish parents . He graduated from the French school Lycée Français Saint Michel in Istanbul in 1975 , then went to university and studied Romance languages at the faculty of languages in 1980 . His first articles were published in the Salom newspaper . Others followed in journalistic bodies such as Cumhuriyet , Stüdyo İmge , Milliyet Sanat , Gösteri , Argos , Gergedan or Varlık .
Mario Levi worked not only as a writer but also as a French teacher , entrepreneur , journalist , radio editor and copywriter . He lectures at Yeditepe Üniversitesi in the Faculty of Communication Sciences and teaches creative writing .
