Mario Plechaty

Mario Plechaty (born February 18, 1972 ) is a German soccer coach and former soccer player.

career

Plechaty started at VfB Waltrop and played as an A-youth with the club in the Westphalia League. He then played at Lüner SV , from where he moved to the amateurs of Borussia Dortmund . Plechaty came on for his only Bundesliga appearance for the Dortmund professionals in the 1990/91 season when he was substituted on for Günter Breitzke in the 80th minute in the home game against 1. FC Köln on matchday 25 (final score 1: 2).

After his time with Dortmund, the midfielder kicked for the amateurs of SG Wattenscheid 09 . From the 1994/95 season he played with the amateurs of SG 09 in the newly founded Regionalliga West / Südwest . 1996 Plechaty moved up to the first team Wattenscheid after they also got into the Regionalliga West / Südwest through the second division relegation and the amateurs had to relegate. With Wattenscheid he was able to celebrate the direct return to the 2nd Bundesliga in the 1996/97 season, but Plechaty left the club at the end of the season and joined FC Wegberg-Beeck , who was playing in the Oberliga Nordrhein at that time . 1998/99 he finished with the club in third place in the table. In the 1999/2000 season Plechaty was active for the Westphalian league club FC Eintracht Rheine .

From the summer of 2000 he played for the association league club Westfalia Rhynern . He played 27 games for the club this season and scored five goals. Nevertheless, the club rose at the end of the season, and Plechaty returned to Lüner SV in the Oberliga Westfalen. After a year he left Lüner SV again and moved to the district league for DJK TuS Körne , which he looked after as a player- coach for one season. The following two years Plechaty worked as a player-coach at league competitor SV Südkirchen and accepted an offer from Dortmund's national league team Mengede 08/20 for the 2006/07 season , which he coached until September 2013. Then Plechaty moved to the national league club Lüner SV .
