Mario Scaccia

Mario Scaccia (born December 26, 1919 in Rome , † January 25, 2011 in Rome ) was an Italian actor .

Life

Mario Scaccia was the son of a painter. During the Second World War he was drafted into the army. He was captured by the Americans in Sicily and spent three years in Morocco. From 1946 he studied acting at the Accademia nazionale d'arte drammatica . He then went on to play theater and from the early 1950s played in Italian films.

Scaccia died on January 26, 2011 at the age of 91 from complications from an operation.
