Life

After his journalistic debut with Paese Sera and Nazione Sera , Spezi switched to the Florentine daily La Nazione in 1975 , where he worked as a police reporter and editor of the cultural pages.

The book, which was published in the US under the title The Monster of Florence in 2008, reached third place on the New York Times bestseller list and has so far been translated into 22 other languages.
