Mario Wohlwend
Mario Wohlwend (born January 12, 1973 in Chur ) is a Liechtenstein politician ( VU ). He has been a member of the Liechtenstein Parliament since 2017 .
biography
Wohlwend comes from Ruggell . Since 2000 he has been working as a professional trainer for design engineers at Hilti AG . Before that, he was a vocational school teacher for vocational studies at the Buchs Vocational and Further Education Center (BZB) in Buchs SG . After completing his training as an apprentice trainer SVEB 1 , he completed a Master of Advanced Studies as an industrial engineer.
In 2011 Wohlwend was elected to the Ruggell municipal council for the Patriotic Union . He was a member of this parliament for a legislative period from 2011 to 2015. As the former community leader of Ruggell, Ernst Büchel ( FBP ), 2015 no longer took, ran Wohlwend for the Patriotic Union in the election to its successor. However, he was defeated by Büchel's party colleague Maria Kaiser-Eberle. In the state elections in Liechtenstein in 2017 , he was elected to the state parliament for the Patriotic Union.
Wohlwend is married and has two children, a son and a daughter.
