Marius Neuschl (born December 3, 1986 in Sangerhausen ) is a former German basketball player . His last station in his professional career was the university giants Leipzig in the 2nd Bundesliga ProB in the 2010/2011 season. After that he only played in the amateur area at the then training club SSV Einheit Weissenfels .

Career

Neuschl came into contact with basketball as a schoolboy in Sangerhausen. He played at SSV Einheit Weißenfels and at the same time was doing an apprenticeship as a media designer . Liviu Calin became aware of Neuschl during a nomination course for the German U20 national team . He then moved to BS Energy Braunschweig and SG Braunschweig as a double licensed player for the 1st basketball league and the 2nd basketball league. However, he did not come to appearances in the first division. In the 2007/2008 season he moved to USC Heidelberg in the ProA , but remained there as a supplementary player. In 2008 he joined the university giants Leipzig for three more seasons and celebrated successes in the Sachsenpokal and with his promotion to the ProB in 2010 . Neuschl then switched to the amateur area at SSV unit Weißenfels up to the 2016/2017 season.
