Marius George Pena (born May 2, 1985 in Bucharest ) is a Romanian football player . The striker has been under contract with CS Concordia Chiajna in Liga 1 since August 2014 .
Career
The career of Pena started at FC Naţional Bucharest , where he, but only on 24 May 2003 on his first appearance in the highest Romanian league, who at the age of 14 years in the first team squad Divizia A , arrived. In the summer of 2003 he moved to Torpedo Moscow in the Russian Premjer League , but soon returned to Romania. There, he played in the second team of Rapid Bucharest in Divizia C before came in the summer of 2004 in the reserve of Rapid Bucharest, in the Divizia B played. There he fought for a regular place in 2005 and switched to the ambitious league competitor CSM Râmnicu Vâlcea in January 2006 . With his new club he missed the intended promotion.
In the summer of 2006, Pena Râmnicu Vâlcea left again and joined CS Concordia Chiajna . There he was promoted to League II before he scored 17 goals in the 2007/08 season and finished fifth with his team. This gave him the opportunity to move to first division club Oțelul Galați . There he had a regular place from the start, but could not repeat his hit rate. He played his most successful season in 2010/11 , when he contributed eight goals to win the championship. In the Champions League , he scored the first goal of his eleven in the game against FC Basel . In January 2013 he moved to FK Baku in Azerbaijan. After a year and a half he returned to Romania, where he again hired at Concordia Chiajna.
