Mark Ashley (born July 6, 1973 in Apolda ) is the stage name of a German pop singer .

Career

Mark Ashley completed an apprenticeship as a pastry chef.

In 1991 Mark Ashley appeared at the DFF in the talent booth , in 1999 on Pro7 with Andreas Türck . With the debut single Dream of Great Emotion , the singer made it to number 9 in the national German airplay charts and number 19 in the BVD charts. Mark Ashley recorded further singles and albums with the ZYX label, Dance Street label .

The album The Fans of Modern Talking expanded Mark Ashley's closeness to these and, according to his own account, was intended as a homage .

In 2011, Mark Ashley appeared on the RTL show Das Supertalent , where he won over the jury with modern-talking interpretations. In the semifinals he was voted into the final by the spectators. In this he received 6.60% of the votes cast and thus finished 6th.

Hans-Peter Lieber from Bad Salzungen has been his manager since the beginning of his career. Initially his panels were installed at Zyx. From 2005 onwards only via the Music Sternchen Records label. This was founded especially for Mark Ashley. From 2010 Jan Volkmann has been working in the background. He is responsible for everything that is released in download portals or on CD. Also for many official music videos and for the videos in the YouTube channel. All Mark Ashley CDs are now available from Music Sternchen Records.
