Mark Enyeart
Mark Enyeart ( Mark Bruce Enyeart; born October 9, 1953 in Alliance , Nebraska ) is a former American middle -distance runner who specialized in the 800-meter distance .
In 1976 he was eliminated from the Olympic Games in Montreal in the preliminary stages, and in 1977 he was fourth at the World Cup in Athletics in Düsseldorf .
Over 800 m he was US champion in 1975 and French champion in 1977. In 1980 he became US indoor champion over 600 yards . Starting for Utah State University , he was NCAA champion over 880 yards and 800 m in 1975 and 1977, and in 1975 NCAA indoor champion over 880 yards.
