Mark Lorenz
Mark Lorenz (born October 22, 1965 in Fürth ; actually Bernd Marco Loritz ) is a German pop singer .
Life
Mark Lorenz first completed an apprenticeship as a retail and wholesale salesman and then received two years of classical singing training from the opera singer Maria Richter . His first manager Günther W. Kliem arranged his first studio recordings. In 1986 Günther Behrle became aware of him during a performance and he received a record deal under the stage name Mark Lorenz. He recorded the song Alles Gute Amigo . Then my first great love followed and with Take the Ring and the Roses from me he became known nationwide.
In 1990, Mark Lorenz won the “Golden Town Hall Man” at the first all-German music festival in Dresden with the title Longing for Security . Three years later, Bayerischer Rundfunk sent him to the Song Festival in Opatija , where he took second place for Germany with the title The Flowers of Peace . In 1995 he received an award at the Musikantenparade.
In 2000 Ralph Siegel wrote for him the two titles I take care of you a little , and Only love counts . Lorenz worked with composers and copywriters such as Hermann and Alfons Weindorf , Uve Schikora , Rudi Büttner and Günther Eric Thöner. Since 2001 he has been working with the producers Werner Schüler and Norbert Bayerlein. In 2010, Mark Lorenz was awarded the "golden Nuremberg funnel" at the grand ceremony of the Nuremberg funnel carnival society. The laudation was given by the former Bavarian Prime Minister Günther Beckstein .
In 2016, his biography Jammere nicht singe was published in collaboration with the writer and painter Doris Kresse .
