Mark-Patrick Redl (born January 6, 1993 in Malsch ) is a German soccer goalkeeper .

Career

Redl played in his youth for SV 08 Kuppenheim , SV Niederbühl and FC Rastatt 04 before joining TSG Hoffenheim in 2009 . After three seasons in the A and B youth team at Hoffenheim, the keeper moved up to the second team in the 2012/13 season. However, he did not get a chance there and moved a year later to the third division club Stuttgarter Kickers . There he first played several games in the second team of the Kickers and sat several times as a substitute goalkeeper for the third division team on the bench. Redl made his professional debut on February 15, 2014, when he was substituted on at the home game against VfL Osnabrück due to an injury from Markus Krauss .

For the 2015/16 season Redl moved to the regional league club Borussia Dortmund II , where he became a substitute for Hendrik Bonmann . He left the club without league use at the end of the season and was initially without a job.

On December 12, 2016 Redl was signed by the second team of 1. FC Kaiserslautern .

After Redl was not used in the second team of 1. FC Kaiserslautern , he signed with FC Homburg in the Oberliga Rheinland-Pfalz / Saar until June 2018 .
