Mark Steven Rivituso (born September 20, 1961 in Saint Louis ) is an American Roman Catholic clergyman and auxiliary bishop in the Archdiocese of Saint Louis .

Life

Mark Rivituso received the sacrament of ordination for the Archbishopric of Saint Louis on January 16, 1988 through Archbishop John Lawrence May .

On 7 March 2017 he appointed Pope Francis to the titular bishop of Turuzi and auxiliary bishop in the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of St. Louis. The Archbishop of Saint Louis, Robert James Carlson , ordained him episcopal on May 2 of the same year . Co- consecrators were Robert Joseph Hermann , auxiliary bishop emeritus in Saint Louis, and Edward Matthew Rice , bishop of Springfield-Cape Girardeau .
