Mark Thomas (composer)

Mark Thomas (* 1956 in Penclawdd , Wales ) is a British composer .

biography

Mark Thomas studied composition and orchestration at Cardiff University School of Music . He then played the violin for the London Symphony Orchestra , Royal Philharmonic Orchestra and then for the Royal Ballet Orchestra . During this time he worked with composers such as Jerry Goldsmith , James Horner , Alan Silvestri and John Williams . Thomas made his debut as a film composer in 1991 with the television film Trauma and the drama Un Nos Ola 'Leuad .
