Mark Twight

Mark Francis Twight (* 1962 ) is an American extreme mountaineer and fitness trainer .

Mark Twight is known for his radical views and the uncompromising style of his climbs, he was the most successful American mountaineer between 1980 and 2000. He made a large number of extremely difficult first ascents in the Rocky Mountains , Alaska , the Himalayas and the French Western Alps .

His book Steig oder Die (English title Kiss or Kill ) received the 2001 Jon Whyte Award for Mountain Literature in Banff, Canada .

Important ventures

In 2006, Twight trained the cast of the film 300 as a fitness trainer . This project made Twight and his studio Gym Jones known in the fitness industry.
In 2013, Twight acted as a fitness trainer for the cast in the movie Man of Steel .
