Mark Winegardner

Mark Winegardner (born November 24, 1961 in Bryan , Ohio ) is an American writer .

biography

Winegardner graduated from Miami University with magna cum laude and received the George Mason University a Master degree in fiction writing. The American's first book was published during his training. Winegardner was then 26 years old. He is currently an English professor and director of the creative writing program at Florida State University in Tallahassee .

The author's contributions have appeared in GQ , Playboy and New Work Times Magazine , among others . Winegardner was chosen by Mario Puzo's heirs to write a sequel to the godfather . The first volume was released in 2004 by Random House The Godfather Returns (German: The Godfather returns ) and in 2006 by Putnam The Godfather's Revenge (German: The Revenge of the Godfather ). Both volumes were published by Heyne Verlag in German-speaking countries .
