Mark van Huisseling (born April 28, 1965 in Bern ) is a Swiss journalist , editor-in-chief , magazine maker and book author.

Life

Van Huisseling grew up in Bern. After training as a commercial clerk and graduating from a higher business school ( HFW ), he turned to journalism. He wrote for Blick and SonntagsBlick , where he completed a traineeship , and later for K-Tip, Handelszeitung or Bilanz . He then worked as a business editor for Weltwoche and went to London as a correspondent for this magazine, where he was also a freelancer for Die Zeit , the Süddeutsche Zeitung and Wallpaper magazine .

From May 2002 to December 2016 he was a columnist for the weekly magazine Die Weltwoche . For his column there, “Kaufzwang”, which he wrote from 2002 to the end of 2006, van Huisseling met people who had a certain degree of prominence and reported on the encounter. For his column “MvH”, which appeared in Weltwoche from 2007 to the end of 2012, he attended events and reported on them. From 2013 to the end of 2016 he asked for “MvH meets” well-known, famous and / or people who interested him. He was and is also active for other media, such as the magazine of the Tages-Anzeiger or FOCUS magazine. In 2010 he had his own TV show on ProSieben (Switzerland) called "MvH - The Place To Be".

He writes sponsored articles ( native advertising ) in his investment tips series “Hit the Mark” for the Tamedia media .

As the editor-in-chief, he publishes WW Magazin, the Weltwoche style supplement, four times a year. He is editor-in-chief for customer magazines of various companies such B. Schild or by public sector companies such as Viacar.
