To mark
The Mark is one of the basic methods of characterizing the production technology and safety technology and product identification in quality management . It is the application of certain features (the mark or marking on objects).
Marking process
Basic procedures:
- Label (labeling)
- Printing
- Needle marking (needle embossing)
- Mark
- Laser marking
- electrochemical marking process
A distinction is made between non-contact processes (laser marking, inkjet printing, etc.) and contact processes (changes to the surface), as well as permanent marking (indelible markings) and reversible markings
In marking technology, the associated reading and verification devices are closely linked to the marking processes.
