After he achieved a good place in the opening competition on the Schattenbergschanze in Oberstdorf in 16th place, he finished eighth on the Olympic hill in Garmisch-Partenkirchen . After a tenth place in Innsbruck , he finished the tour with a 27th place on the Paul-Ausserleitner-Schanze in Bischofshofen . In the overall ranking he reached 13th place.
