Marko Werner

Marko Werner (* 1976 in Schwedt / Oder ) is a German actor .

Life

Werner gained his first acting experience at the age of six at the Uckermärkische Bühnen Schwedt . Here he played as an extra and was hired as an assistant director in the 1998/99 season. He completed his acting studies at the Rostock University of Music and Theater in 2003 with a diploma. During his time in Rostock, he was a guest at the Rostock Volkstheater and worked with Roland May and Katja Paryla .

In the 2002/2003 season, Werner was a guest at the Braunschweig State Theater . involved. From April 2003 to November 2012 he was a permanent member of the ensemble at the Braunschweig State Theater. There he played Werther in over 70 performances in the solo piece based on Johann Wolfgang von Goethe's The Sorrows of Young Werther . the George in A Clockwork Orange (play) by Anthony Burgess , directed by Eva Veiders; and the Billy Pillgrim in Schlachthof 5 by Kurt Vonnegut, directed by Carlos Manuel. In Braunschweig he also worked with the directors Christian Tschirner , Dominik Günther, Mario Portmann, Holger Berg , Constanze Kreusch, Volker Schmidt, Christopher Rüping , Juliane Kann, Sebastian Wirnitzer and Robin Telfer. In the 2012/13 season Werner can be seen as a guest at the Braunschweig State Theater. He also celebrated successes with the live concerts "elektro.lyrik.1" and "elektro.lyrik.2" with his fellow actor Clemens Giebel and the band "Testsieger". Guest performances in Bremen, Oldenburg and Paderborn followed.

From 2000 Marko Werner worked in short films. In 2006 he shot for ZDF Das kleine Fernsehspiel. In 2009 he received the “Promotion Prize for Young Theater Artists” from the Society of State Theater Friends in Braunschweig.

Marko Werner is also the initiator and curator of the TelePhotography exhibition, which has been on view in Braunschweig since November 2009. With the display exhibition box principle he developed, it is possible to present mobile phone photos in their original format, backlit, over a length of 12 m. This is the only way to achieve the effect of a cell phone photo exhibition.
