The market hall in Murat , a French commune in the Cantal department in the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region , was built in 1890. The market hall has been on the list of architectural monuments in France as Monument historique since 1991 .

The building is a typical steel structure, as it was built at the time based on the model of Victor Baltard (1805–1874) in many communities in France.

In 1988 the market hall was extensively renovated.
