The market square in Ludwigsburg in Baden-Württemberg is a baroque square in the center of the city.

The marketplace was designed in the 18th century by the Italian Donato Giuseppe Frisoni . It is bordered by arcade houses as well as the opposing churches, the Catholic Church of the Most Holy Trinity in the east and the Protestant city ​​church in the west. The square has access from each of the four directions. Its dimensions are approximately 110 meters in a south-north direction and 80 meters in a west-east direction. In the center of the square is the market fountain with a statue of the city's founder, Duke Eberhard Ludwig . Friedrich Theodor Vischer's birthplace is located on the market square, just north of the Protestant town church.

As the central square in Ludwigsburg, it is used for various events such as the baroque Christmas market or the Venetian fair . On the ground floor of the arcade houses there are restaurants and retail outlets.
