Markus Ekkehard Locker

Markus Ekkehard Locker (born December 18, 1965 in Vienna ) is an Austrian Catholic theologian .

Life

He passed the Matura in 1985 at the Technological Trade Museum , in 1995 the graduation : MA Theology, Maryhill School of Theology, Manila with the diploma thesis The Prologue of John , 1998 the doctorate : PhD Ateneo de Manila University with the dissertation The Book of Revelation in Language Philosophy ( nostrified at the University of Vienna : Dr. theol. 2001), 2007 graduation: MA Philosophy , Ateneo de Manila University, with the diploma thesis The Significance of the Notion of Language-Game for a Reformulation of New Testament Biblical Theology and 2010 graduation: PhD at Monash University , Melbourne, Australia, with the dissertation The Power of Paradox. Glimpses beyond the Boundaries of Truth . Since 1995 he has been teaching as Assistant Professor of Theology, School of Humanities, Ateneo de Manila University. Since 1998 he has taught the New Testament with the academic rank of Assistant Professor, Loyola Theological College, Ateneo de Manila University. Since 2005 he has been Associate Professor of Theology, School of Humanities, Ateneo de Manila University and Lecturer in the New Testament with the academic rank of Associate Professor at Loyola Theological College, Ateneo de Manila University. From 2013 to 2015 he was Research Professor of Theology, School of Humanities, Ateneo de Manila University. He has been teaching at HTL Hollabrunn since 2016 .

His research includes the parables , New Testament hermeneutics, and biblical theology, as well as the relationship between systems theory and theology.
