Markus Gierke (* 1991 ) is a German swimming athlete specializing in the dolphin location . He is a world championship participant and multiple German champion.

Gierke, who competed for water sports fans from 1898 Hanover , won his first title of German champion at the 2014 short course championships in the Wuppertal swimming opera over 200 meters dolphin with a time of 1: 53.82 min. and became Tim Wallburger's successor .
