Markus Rejek

Markus Rejek (born July 11, 1968 in Mülheim an der Ruhr ) is a German football official .

Life

Markus Rejek has worked for the sports rights marketer Sportfive since 1999 , where he was responsible for the Bundesliga club Borussia Dortmund . On November 1, 2010 Rejek took over the post of Marketing Director . During this time he won the 2012 Brand Award Special Prize in the Best Sports Brand category . A year later, the introductory campaign for the new Borussia Dortmund jerseys, managed by Rejek, took first place in the Sports Marketing Prize . Under Rejek's direction, the club's slogan Echte Liebe was introduced. On February 1, 2014, Rejek moved to the second division TSV 1860 Munich as commercial director . After several arguments with the investor Hasan Ismaik , Rejek was given leave of absence at the end of July 2016. On October 1, 2017, Rejek took over the position of commercial director at the second division Arminia Bielefeld .
