Marlène Canguio
Marlène Canguio (born March 10, 1942 in Sainte-Rose , Guadeloupe ) is a former French hurdler , sprinter and long jumper .
In 1962 she was eliminated from the European Athletics Championships in Belgrade over 80 m hurdles in the semifinals and in the 4 x 100 meter relay in the preliminary run.
At the Olympic Games in Tokyo in 1964, she was eighth in the 4-by-100-meter relay . Over 80 m hurdles she did not get beyond the first lap.
In 1966 she was fourth over 60 m hurdles at the European Indoor Games in Dortmund and failed in the long jump in qualification. At the European Championship in Athens in 1969, she reached the semi-finals over 100 m hurdles .
She was French champion over 80 m hurdles and 100 m hurdles three times (1963, 1964, 1969) and once in the long jump (1967).
