Jutta Wübbe

Jutta Wübbe (* 1955 in Hamburg ) is a German cabaret artist , comedian and presenter . She became known through her character Marlene Jaschke , who she embodied on cabaret stages and later on television.

Professional development

Jutta Wübbe initially trained as a bank clerk in 1972 and shortly afterwards was employed as a clerk in the credit department of the Hamburger Sparkasse . She later became a financial accountant at Hamburgische Electricitätswerke (HEW) .

In 1985 Wübbe joined a clown workshop in Drübberholz, and finally gave up her job to devote herself to street theater . In 1987, as part of André Heller's "Luna Luna", the character of Marlene Jaschke was created , a lovable, quirky lady who talks with a certain honesty about her budgie Waltraut, her handbag, her friend Hannelore and her much sought-after work colleague Mr. Tramstedt.

Marlene Jaschke appeared in 1989 in Corny Littmann's home production "Blue Boys" and moderated since 1990 together with Lilo Wanders Littmann's Mr. Schmidt and the Schmidt-midnight show of Norddeutscher Rundfunk . Jutta Wübbe then celebrated further successes in Schmidt's Tivoli Theater as Marlene Jaschke, who embodied Carmen in the crocheted flamenco dress . In 1997 and 1998 Jaschke was the patron of the Hamburg Front Women Festival. In addition, she now gives clown workshops herself.

In 2019 she will celebrate her 30th stage anniversary with a solo program called "Never again, perhaps". She has been touring Germany with this program since 2017.

Awards

In 1991 Jutta Wübbe received the German TeleStar TV Prize and the Adolf Grimme Prize .
