Marlene Zeidler-Beck (* 24. December 1987 in Vienna as Marlene Beck ) is an Austrian politician of the Austrian People's Party (ÖVP). Since March 2018 she has been a member of the Federal Council delegated by the Lower Austria state parliament .

Life

After attending the elementary school St. Raphael in Maria Enzersdorf, Marlene Zeidler-Beck attended the Kollegium Kalksburg high school , where she graduated in 2006 . She then studied journalism and communication science at the University of Vienna , completing her master's degree in 2013. She then attended the International Management & Communications course at FHWien , which she completed in 2015 as a Master of Business Administration .

From 2010 to 2017 she was press coordinator at the Landesklinikum Baden - Mödling , and since then she has been working as a campaign manager.

politics

Since 2013 she has been the district chairwoman of the Young ÖVP (JVP) in the Mödling district . From 2013 to 2016 she was regional chairman of the Young ÖVP in Lower Austria and from 2015 to 2018 Federal Finance Officer of the Young ÖVP. Since 2015 she has also been a managing councilor in Maria Enzersdorf, where her father Christian Beck was mayor from 2000 to 2006.

After the state elections in Lower Austria in 2018 , she has been a delegated member of the Federal Council by the Lower Austria state parliament since March 22, 2018 , where she joins the Committee on Foreign Affairs, the Health Committee, the Committee on Sports Matters, the EU Committee, the Committee on Family and Youth and Member of the Innovation, Technology and Future Committee, and the Equal Treatment Committee, the Children's Rights Committee and the Incompatibility Committee.

In 2019 she was elected chairwoman of the Maria Enzersdorf Economic Association.
