Marlies Müller (actually Marie-Louise Müller, divorced Naumann; born June 9, 1927 in Cologne ) is a former German javelin thrower .
Career
Müller, who started for Rot-Weiß Koblenz , was sixth at the 1952 Olympic Games in Helsinki with a 44.37 m. In 1950 , 1951 and 1953 she became German champion .
She set her personal best of 47.69 m on July 19, 1953 in Pfungstadt .
Personal
Müller married the high jumper Bernd Naumann , but divorced him again and took her maiden name again. Her brother Hermann-Josef Müller was a sprinter, long and pole vaulter.
