Johnath Marlone Azevedo da Silva , called Marlone , (born April 2, 1992 in Augustinópolis , Tocantins ) is a Brazilian football player .
Career
At the age of 14, Marlone was hired by the professional club Vasco da Gamma. In 2012, he made it to the first squad. Marlone was promoted in the club in 2012 by then coach Marcelo Oliveira . After good playing times in the junior division, he played his first professional game on October 6, 2012 against Atlético Goianiense .
After Éder Luís left , Marlone won the vacant spot on the team and became the favorite of the Vasco team. Marlone was one of Vasco's best players, so he received offers from many Brazilian and foreign clubs. At the end of the 2013 season, Vasco had to relegate to the second division, so the player also wanted to change. He was signed by CA Penapolense . This immediately loaned the player on.
Marcelo Oliveira , coach of Cruzeiro Belo Horizonte since 2013 , campaigned for the signing of Marlone, which was then carried out. He won the Brazilian championship with the club in 2014, but moved to Fluminense in Rio de Janeiro after just one year. Here Marlone played thirteen games in the state championship of Rio de Janeiro in early 2016 . In the 2015 championship he was a reserve player. In the current season switched to the league competitor Sport Recife . Here he came on a regular basis.
At the beginning of 2016, Marlone moved to Corinthians São Paulo . He was signed up for three years. During the season he played for the club in various competitions 35 times and scored eight goals. For the 2017 season, Marlone was loaned to Atlético Mineiro during the current national championship . The player did not return to Corinthians for 2018 either, but was loaned to his old place of work Sport Recife for a year. Marlone did not return to Corinthians in the season either. He was loaned to the Goiás EC for the 2019 season.
At the beginning of February 2020 it was announced that Corinthians had sold the player to South Korea . Marlone signed a new contract with K League 2 club Suwon FC .
