Martín Saldivia

Martín Saldivia (born January 15, 1985 ) is a Uruguayan rower .

Originally from Paysandú , Saldivia is a member of Club Remeros Paysandú . At the XXVI. At the South American rowing championships in La Punta , Peru , he took 4th place in the juniors in the single and a 2nd place alongside Collazo, Salvagno and Reboledo in the junior foursome. On the Río Uruguay near the headquarters of his home club, he rowed in March 2010 at the Uruguayan Championships held there with his club colleague Emiliano García to second place in the two-man behind the duo of Carmelo Rowing . In one he was Uruguayan champion. He also competed for Club Remeros Paysandú at the Uruguayan Championships in 2011 on the rowing course in El Palmar. For the Pan American Games in 2011 he was appointed to the Uruguayan team by national coach Rúben Scarpatti . There he started in a foursome at the side of Leandro Salvagno , Jhonatan Esquivel and Germán Anchieri and finished in 5th place. The national rowing championships in early April 2012, hosted by his home club on the waters of the Río Uruguay, Saldivia finished with a 3rd place in the singles competition.
