Mart van Werkhoven (born December 11, 1991 in Voorhout ) is a Dutch volleyball player .

Career

Van Werkhoven started his career in 2009 at Visade Voorburg . The following season he played at US Amsterdam in the second Dutch division. From 2011 to 2013, the middle blocker was active in the first division Abiant Lycurgus Groningen . He then played for two years in France, first with Tourcoing Lille Metropole and then with LISSP Calais . In 2015 he took part in the world league with the Dutch national team. In the same year he was signed by the Portuguese club Sporting Lisbon , with whom he won the national cup in 2016. In 2017/18 he played in Solingen for the German Bundesliga club Bergische Volleys . After a season at VK Lvi Prague , van Werkhoven moved back to the German Bundesliga for WWK Volleys Herrsching .

Van Werkhouven also played a few youth tournaments in beach volleyball .
