Martin Erhard (* 1938 in Hohenfurch ; † July 7, 2013 ) was a German ice hockey player and referee . He has been a member of the German Hall of Fame since 2004 and has been awarded the Federal Cross of Merit on ribbon.

Career

Martin Erhard was in the first team of SV Hohenfurch from 1956 to 1964. In 1964, after frequent injuries, he began refereeing, with Franz Bader as his role model.

After he was used as a referee in the Bundesliga at the end of the 1960s , he received the international license in 1973. It was used internationally at the B World Cup in 1975 in Sapporo , at the A World Cup in 1976 in Katowice and in 1977 in Vienna .

After 1555 games, he ended his career as an active referee at a game in Landshut.
