Martin Güll (born November 15, 1953 in Salzberg , today Berchtesgaden ) is a Bavarian politician ( SPD ). From 2008 to 2018 he was a member of the Bavarian State Parliament .

Life and work

Martin Güll graduated from high school in 1973 and then studied from 1973 to 1976 at the Pädagogische Hochschule München-Pasing , which was incorporated into the Ludwig Maximilians University in Munich in 1972 . There he passed his first teaching examination in 1976 and his second in 1979. Since 1976 he has worked as a secondary school teacher at the Markt Indersdorf secondary school . There he was also headmaster from 2002 to 2008.

Martin Güll lived in Hilgertshausen until 2019 and then moved to Lower Franconia. He is Roman Catholic, married and has two children.

politics

Martin Güll, who has been a member of the SPD since 2008 , did not hold any political or municipal functions before his state parliament mandate . In the state elections in Bavaria in 2008 and again in 2013 , he was elected in the constituency of Upper Bavaria . From October 20, 2008 to November 4, 2018 he was a member of the Bavarian State Parliament. There he was chairman of the Committee on Education, Youth and Sport . Martin Güll was particularly committed to the introduction of community schools in Bavaria.

From March 2013 to September 2019 Güll headed the local SPD association in Hilgertshausen-Tandern .

In addition to his partisan work, he is a member of the Arbeiterwohlfahrt and the White Ring .
