Martin Heinrich Fuhrmann
Martin Heinrich Fuhrmann (born December 28, 1669 in Templin , † June 25, 1745 in Berlin ) was a German cantor and music theorist.
Life
Martin Heinrich Fuhrmann was a son of Martin Fuhrmann († 1709), who was first rector in Zehdenick and then senior pastor and superintendent in Templin. His musical training was based on FD Klingenberg (student of Buxtehude ), MP Hennigsen, FW Zachow and J. Schelle . In 1694 Fuhrmann became the organist in Soldin . From 1704 to 1742 he was cantor at the Friedrichswerder Gymnasium in Berlin.
In terms of music theory, Fuhrmann leaned on Johann Mattheson .
