Martin Johansson (born September 26, 1984 in Avesta ) is a Swedish orienteer .

Martin Johansson, who is a member of the IFK Mora club , won a bronze medal in the sprint at the 2007 World Championships in Kiev and 2008 in Olomouc . In 2004 Johansson finished second at the Junior World Championships over the long distance and won the gold medal with the Swedish relay. In 2005 he finished eighth at the World Games in Duisburg. Martin Johansson is a good runner and skier and has already taken part in the Wasalauf.

At the relay race of the 2009 World Championships in Miskolc , Hungary , Johansson ran as the final runner in the leading group and was seriously injured. His direct rivals Thierry Gueorgiou ( France ), Michal Smola ( Czech Republic ) and Anders Nordberg ( Norway ) witnessed the accident and stopped their run to take care of Johansson and get help. Despite this incident and the distortion of the result, the race was rated by the IOF .

In 2005 he became the Swedish sprint champion.
