Martin Klein (cook)

Martin Klein (born November 11, 1976 in Strasbourg ) is a French chef.

Career

In 1996, Klein went to Vincent Klink in Stuttgart (one of the Michelin Guide stars ) at the Wielandshöhe restaurant , where he became sous chef . In 1998 he moved to the Marstall restaurant at Christian Jürgens (one Michelin star), where he later became head chef.

In 2003 he became head chef at Roland Trettl's Ikarus restaurant in Hangar-7 (one Michelin star). In 2011 he moved to Laucala Island Resort on Laucala Island in the South Pacific as Executive Chef .

Since January 2014 he has been Executive Chef as the successor to Roland Trettl in Hangar-7 . The Ikarus restaurant was awarded one star by the Michelin Guide in 2014 and has had two Michelin stars since 2015.
