Martin Reimann (economist)

Martin Reimann (* 1978 ) is a German economist. His main research interests are marketing strategy and consumer behavior , especially neuroeconomics and neuromarketing .

Life

Martin Reimann studied business administration at the University of Passau and at the Leipzig Graduate School of Management. He received his doctorate from the TU Bergakademie Freiberg . He was also a Research Fellow at the Psychology Department of Stanford University and lecturer at the Technical University of Munich and the EGADE Business School des Tecnologico de Monterrey ( Instituto Tecnológico y de Estudios Superiores de Monterrey ).

He worked in the Psychology Department and the Brain and Creativity Institute at the University of Southern California . He is the founder of the English-language Journal of Neuroscience, Psychology, and Economics (JNPE), a journal of the American Psychological Association (APA). Reimann completed his habilitation with Margit Enke at the TU Bergakademie Freiberg in June 2009 .

Martin Reimann was appointed to the Chair of Marketing at the Otto von Guericke University Magdeburg in the 2010/11 winter semester, succeeding Bernd Erichson . He was appointed Assistant Professor of Marketing at the University of Arizona in fall 2013 .
