Martin Rosz

Martin Rosz (born January 30, 1945 in Königsberg (Prussia) ) is a German visual artist .

Rosz first made an apprenticeship as a merchant and decorator; Rosz's first works were published from 1961 onwards. From 1963 to 1966 he studied at the University of the Arts in Berlin. From 1966 to 1978 he worked as a trainee in the Berlin Kaufhaus des Westens . From 1973 his work was shown in solo exhibitions. In 1978 he received a scholarship for a New York stay; In 1979 he was awarded the Berlin Art Prize (sponsorship award) and in 1980 the Böttcherstrasse Art Prize in Bremen . In 1983 he received the Villa Romana sponsorship award from the German Association of Artists .
