Martin Sack

Martin Sack (* 1961 ) is a German doctor , specialist in psychotherapeutic medicine and university professor . Since 2012 he has been an adjunct professor at the Technical University of Munich .

Services

Martin Sack studied medicine in Homburg and Berlin from 1981 to 1988 . His doctorate as Dr. med. took place in 1996 through the work biography of Alfred Prinz Auersperg 1899/1968 with Dieter Janz and Heinz-Peter Schmiedebach . In 2005 he completed his habilitation in psychotherapeutic medicine on the topic of the influence of acute dissociative symptoms on autonomic-vegetative regulation .

Sack was an intern, later an assistant doctor in the 2nd internal department of the Jewish Hospital Berlin with Rüdiger R. Salloch-Vogel. He then worked as a research assistant in the department for psychosomatic medicine and psychotherapy at the Rudolf Virchow Hospital in Berlin with Burghard F. Klapp and research assistant and senior physician in the department of psychosomatic medicine and psychotherapy at the Hanover Medical School with Friedhelm Lamprecht. Since 2008 he has been the senior consultant and head of the Psychotraumatology Section at the Clinic for Psychosomatic Medicine and Psychotherapy at the Klinikum rechts der Isar at the Technical University of Munich.

His further education took place u. a. in psychoanalytical-interactive group therapy (working group for the application of psychoanalysis in groups in Göttingen), in special psycho-trauma therapy (DeGPT) and in EMDR (certification by EMDRIA Deutschland eV as EMDR supervisor).

From 2008 to 2012 Sack was chairman of the German-speaking Society for Psychotraumatology (DeGPT).
