Martin Schützenauer (born June 28, 1962 in Vienna ) is a former Austrian bobsleigh athlete .

Career

Schützenauer competed at the 1992 Winter Olympics in Albertville , 1994 in Lillehammer , 1998 in Nagano and 2002 in Salt Lake City . His best placement was sixth in the 1994 four-man bobsleigh in Lillehammer. Together with Gerhard Rainer , Carsten Nentwig and Thomas Bachler , he finished 10th in the four-man bobsleigh in 1992. In 1994 he competed in the four-man bobsleigh with Kurt Einberger , Carsten Nentwig and Thomas Bachler; In 1998 he was in the first team for Austria with Hubert Schösser , Peter Leismüller and Erwin Arnold .

Schützenauer competed as a track and field athlete in Atlanta in 1996 in the 4 × 100 m relay .
