Martin Scheer

Martin Scheer (* around 1970) is an Austrian drummer , sound engineer and music producer .

Career

After learning to play the drums in a brass band , Scheer studied drums at the Bruckner Conservatory in Linz and the Vienna Conservatory . As a drummer he worked for the bands Faust (from Krems ) and Excuse Me Moses , before he increasingly devoted himself to mastering from the mid- 1990s - most recently for the Vienna studio Swoon Factory . In 2013 he was nominated for the Amadeus Austrian Music Award in the category Best Engineered Album for Piece of Me by Jeremy Schonfeld . He also works as a teacher at the Vienna Music School. As a sound engineer, he worked for Conchita Wurst and her song contest song or for musicians such as Opus .
