The Scottish Football League Division One was played for the 26th time in 1918/19 . It was also the 29th edition of the highest soccer division within the Scottish Football League in which the Scottish champions were determined. It began on August 17, 1918 and ended on May 10, 1919. In the 1918/19 season, 18 clubs competed against each other in a total of 34 match days. Each team played once at home and away against every other team. The 2-point rule applied . In the event of a tie, the clubs (with the same number of points) were placed tied.
The championship won for the 15th time in the club's history Celtic Glasgow . The top scorer with 29 goals was David McLean of the Glasgow Rangers. After the end of the season, three clubs (got FC Dundee , Aberdeen FC and Raith Rovers ) that their participation in 1917 had interrupted for reasons of transportation, their places in the Division One back. Additionally, the Albion Rovers crew was selected to get an even number of participants.
